Imitation is Flattering

A good friend of mine sent me an email recently with updates on his world. Amidst it all was his latest artistic creation, which he calls Ripping Off Army. I call it full-on genius...

I love it! Take a bow, Benny! He had other ideas, like These Are Me Drinks, but alas they never saw the light of creation because he didn't have a "D" to photoshop into the picture.

He also had a good idea for a new header for my website links on the left column. So I have ripped him off and given credit where it's due. Be sure to check out "These Are Me Links." Clever! Why didn't I think of that??

Thanks for the props, Army! I'd say it adds a touch of much needed class to the website... :P

By the way, have you seen that the new 'slogan' for the U.S. Army is "Army Strong." Check it out at goarmy.com. The upper right logo has it. I'd say we need a Photoshop contest!

I love it! Army Strong!! Can I sue them for kinda name infringement?

And Benny it's true, nothing says "class" quite like a mouthwash bottle and a dish strainer : )

Well, you could probably win that lawsuit using the "Army of One" clause. :)

Hey, we're in Texas, and we have neighbors with little or no teeth, and hang their flatware and tupperware outside on a dishline like good, respectable folk. You should see when the youngn's come out the ripped screen door, trying to knock the Armadillos off the line. It's a hoot, and all the neighbors chip in, eat'n ribs and fire'n their 6-shooters. :)

And I'm so glad that my Flinstone vitamins are there for the world to see. I'm like a 6 year old.... but don't knock 'em, they have a lot of good stuff and they taste fantastic!
