It's an on-going problem with the fringe element, who quite honestly, give any group a bad name.

As for the apples and oranges, it's not like I'm taking this argument to the debate team on Friday... I don't think the Jesus reflection in a puddle rebuttal holds any water...Armyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10522707969675876365noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19570715.post-30448434389584389132007-10-24T16:31:00.000-07:002007-10-24T16:31:00.000-07:00At the risk of sounding like one of these "nutball...At the risk of sounding like one of these "nutballs" you were ranting about, I happen to be of the mind that there are some SERIOUS inconsistencies in the "offical" story of 9/11. Not saying that the government planned it, necessarily, but it doesn't take much investigation to find incongruencies. Just an open mind to consider them. As much as I tend to agree with Maher on most issues, I diverge ways with him here. There is a difference between critical thinking and shoving one's head in the sand.

Think about it this way: How foolish is it to accept the same government's word on 9/11 like it's gospel, all while knowing how much they've lied about everything else? Never trust a government, period, especially one that investigates itself.

Furthermore, comparing the 9/11 attacks to the Iraq War and all of the circumstances surrounding it is like comparing apples and oranges. It's much easier to manipulate a population that has been attacked because they are too emotional and afraid to split hairs and investigate. They just want the problem and the "bad guys" to go away, and they look to big brother to just take care of it. And it's just as easy to manipulate that same scared population into initially supporting a war that on the outside looks like a "war on terror" but on the inside is something a hell of a lot more basic, yet sinister. The idea for this war came LONG before 9/11 and the Bush administration.

Anyway, I wouldn't be so quick to write off the so-called "truth" movement, and I don't think Bill should either.

That's all I'm gonna say about that.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07856346021932036387noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19570715.post-3688955927504179722007-10-24T16:07:00.000-07:002007-10-24T16:07:00.000-07:00*Applauds* Well put.*Applauds* Well put.Bubz The Trollhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12956210261983000636noreply@blogger.com
